Peacefully at Hamilton Continuing Care, on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the age of 75. Predeceased by her beloved husband Stanley (2009). Loving mother of Meagan (Rob), Laura, and Martha (John). Cherished grandmother of Braeden.

Mary Elizabeth Tildesley was born in Sarnia, Ontario, where she quickly developed a love of music, especially The Beatles. She spent many years working as a secretary for the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic School Board, sharing her infectious laugh with students of all ages. Mary was a big fan of animals, caring for many pets over her lifetime, and loving animal visits at HCC in her later years. Mary’s favourite thing to do was to sit on a patio with a beer and listen to music or watch her beloved Toronto Blue Jays.

Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sts. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 50 Brucedale Ave E., Hamilton on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
