With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Iva Torriano on June 7, 2025, at the age of 72. Iva was a beloved mother to Ileah and CJ, loving wife to Simone, cherished mother-in-law to Stefania, and a proud and devoted grandmother to Olivia and Adrian. She was also a loving aunt, sister, cousin, and a dear friend to many whose lives she touched deeply.

Iva was truly one of a kind—a radiant presence whose warmth and wisdom left a lasting imprint on everyone she encountered. She had an incredible gift of bringing people together, finding immense joy in gathering loved ones to celebrate life’s moments, both big and small.

A mentor and confidante to many, Iva was a soft place to land in times of need, and a force to be reckoned with when strength was required. Her fierce love, unwavering support, and magnetic personality made her a cornerstone of her family and community.

Though we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the incredible life she lived and the countless memories she created for us all. Her legacy of love, resilience, and joyful connection will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, and in accordance with Iva’s wishes, donations may be made to Vaughan Hospice or the Hospital for Sick Children, causes close to her heart.
