TOTI, Savina Toti

It is with profound sadness that the family of Savina Toti announces her peaceful passing on Thursday, May 7, 2026. Beloved and devoted wife to the late Angelo Toti (2006).

Born on October 8, 1940, in Pofi, Frosinone, Italy, Savina was the cherished youngest daughter of the late Angelo and Colomba Palmegiani. At a young age, Savina courageously made the journey to Canada on her own to marry Angelo on March 10 1958, leaving behind her parents and family in Italy with the hope of building a better life. Through hard work, resilience, and determination, she created a life filled with love, faith, family, and friendship.

Savina Toti was predeceased by her loving sisters, Teresa Rossi (late Antonio), Maria Lombardi (late Giuseppe), Maddalena Ferraccioli (late Biagio) and Clotilda Vicano (late Loredo), as well as her devoted brother, Girolamo Palmegiani (Maria). Adored daughter-in-law of Pietro and Guiseppina Toti and Guiseppina Conti sister-in-law of Giovanni Toti (Angelina), Vincenzina Lama (Piero), Nazzareno Toti (Teresa), Luigi Toti (Maria), and Angelina Quatrini (Luciano).

Savina will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her nieces and nephews, whom she adored and who loved her dearly. She shared a special bond with each of them and took great pride in being an important and caring presence in their lives.

A woman of deep faith and quiet generosity, Savina was an active member of St. Pius X Church and the Catholic Women’s League for many years.

Savina dedicated more than 25 years of service to SC Johnson, where she took great pride in her work. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures — tending to her garden, preparing beautiful meals for those she loved, and baking for family and friends. She was especially known for her delicious lemon cake, tiramisu, and prosciutto which was lovingly made and enjoyed by all who had the pleasure of sharing it with her. She also loved travelling back to Italy to reconnect with family, friends, and the place that always remained close to her heart.

Savina will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and quiet strength. A loyal neighbour and trusted friend, she was always thoughtful, welcoming, and caring toward others. She was also known for her elegance and impeccable sense of style — always beautifully dressed, with her appearance perfectly put together no matter the occasion.

Soft-spoken and exceptionally kind, Savina had a warmth that made everyone feel welcome and cared for. Her grace, compassion, and unwavering love for her family will remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the love she shared and the countless lives she touched.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm with prayers at 7:30pm at Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 11:00am St. Pius X Parish, 9 Waverly Street, Brantford, followed by interment at Our Lady of the Assumption Mausoleum, Holy Cross Cemetery
