TOUCHETTE, Yvon Touchette

It is with great sadness that the family of Yvon Touchette announces his peaceful passing on Saturday, February, 28, 2026, at the age of 78.Born on March 16, 1947 in Montreal, Quebec, Yvon was the beloved only child of Simone and Isadore Touchette. Yvon is survived by his devoted wife of 29 years, Susan Touchette; his daughters Linda (Chafik) and France (Paul); his sister-in-law Penny (Dan); brothers-in-law Bob (Louise) and Gary (Geri); and his cherished 28 nieces and nephews. In recent years, one of his greatest joys was watching his great-nephew Nathan on the ice – playing Yvon’s favourite sport of hockey. Go Red Wings! Predeceased by his parents, and his beloved brother-in-law, Calvin. We take great comfort in knowing Yvon will now be reunited with them.

A Celebration of Life will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St.N., Waterdown on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Carpenter Hospice in Burlington would be greatly appreciated.
