At the Smiths Falls Hospital on Friday May 1, 2026. David George Townsend of Portland, in his 78th year. Survived by sons; John and Jeff (Amanda) all of Brockville, by brother; Paul (Susan) of Smiths Falls as well as sister-in-law; Karen. He is also survived by several nieces, nehphews, great-nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by wife wife; Laurie, Parents; Lawrence and Clara Townsend, Sister; Linda (Harry) Barker and by brother Earl Townsend.

A Public Graveside Service will be held at Harlem Cemetery on Thursday May 14, 2026 at 2 o’clock. Plant a tree in David’s name or donations to a charity of your choice would be appreicated.
