Peacefully passed away on October 15, 2025 at Hillsdale Estates, at the age of 86.

Beloved wife of the late Andy for over 64 wonderful years. Loving mother of Andrew (Marcie) and Stephen (Jessica). Cherished grandmother to Logan, Cailin, Andrew, Emma, and Julia.

Ina immigrated to Toronto in 1960 from Ardrossan, Scotland with her husband Andy.

Ina’s strength and hard work contributed to building a successful life in Canada including a career in educational publishing, raising two boys and later was an involved and loving grandmother to her five grandchildren.

Ina and Andy were not ones to sit still. They enjoyed travelling the world in their retirement and continued camping well into their 80’s at favourite campgrounds including beloved Killbear Provincial Park.

Ina’s loyalty, independence and sense of humour endeared her to family and lifelong friends. Her affable spirit was evident at Hillsdale Estates where she continued to develop friendships and positive relationships with staff and residence.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 4-6 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa).
