Born in the small community of Ceepeecee, Tahsis, where his love for nature and the outdoors first began. He later spent many devoted years with VIHA, working in maintenance at West Coast General Hospital. His colleagues and friends knew him as someone you could always count on — a true jack-of-all-trades with a generous heart and a willingness to help anyone in need. If something was broken, Colin would quietly find a way to fix it.
He felt most at home under the open sky. Whether exploring the forests and trails around Port Alberni or simply enjoying the stillness of nature, being outdoors brought Colin joy and peace.
Colin will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter, Jessica, and his brother, Greg, along with extended family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
A celebration of Colin’s life will be held on June 30, 2027, where family and friends will gather to share memories and honour the man who meant so much to so many.
