TUMMINIERI, Corradina Tumminieri

She passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, at Michael Garron Hospital, in her 96th year, surrounded by the love of her family.

Corradina Tumminieri is survived by her brothers Paolo, Salvatore and Marcello, and is reunited with her siblings, beloved husband Antonino, and her cherished daughter, Giuseppina.

Born in Pachino, Sicily, Corradina immigrated to Toronto, Canada with her seven children to reunite with her husband and begin a new life in a new country. In this beautiful city, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, always striving to be the best wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother she could be. Family was the centre of Corradina’s world, and her unconditional love, resilience, kindness, grace, and gentle spirit touched everyone that was lucky enough to know her.

She will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished by her children: Daughter Maria late husband Sebastiano, Son Sebastiano wife Maria, Daughter Simona husband Corrado, Son Corrado late wife Cheryl, late Daughter Giuseppina husband Larry, daughter Rita, and son Francesco wife Faraneh. She also leaves behind her 16 beloved grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.

Corradina’s legacy of love, sacrifice, devotion, and family will live on through generations. She will be deeply missed.
