TUZI, Armando Tuzi

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Marshall Gowland Manor, surrounded by his loved ones, at the age of 92. Armando Tuzi will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Norina, and his children, Antonietta (Rick), Rosa and Laura (Lawrence). Loving Nonno to Patrick (Lesley), Alessio, Romina, Nicolai, Celine (Jesse), Luca, Nathaniel, Ava and Ryan, and cherished Bisnonno to Luke, Henry and Valentina. He will be sadly missed by his sisters, Assunta and Fiorella (Antonio), and by his in-laws, Carlo, Olga, Rita, Carmela and Attilio. He will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Armando came to Canada in 1968. He was a proud member of Local 1089 Labourers’ Union until his retirement and a lifetime member of the Dante Club. Armando was happiest when he was hard at work or immersed in a project, always finding purpose in building, fixing or creating. He treasured leisure time with his family, especially the Sunday gatherings that became a cherished family tradition. Generous with his time and talents, he was always willing to lend a hand and took great pride in sharing the bounty from his garden and his homemade wine. His gentle, kind and welcoming nature touched everyone who knew him, and his generosity will be dearly missed. The family wishes to thank the staff at Marshall Gowland Manor for their compassionate care and kindness. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 390 Christina St., N., Sarnia, on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Sarnia. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to Alzheimer Society of Sarnia-Lambton (cheques only when donating at the funeral home please).
