Jessica Uppal

We are deeply saddened to announce the loss of Jessica Janet Uppal (Banda), who passed away on July 17th, 2026. She lived for 43 years that left behind beautiful memories that will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.

A special soul who filled our lives with love and kindness, Jessica’s warmth will always be remembered. Jessica may no longer be with us, but her spirit continues to live in our hearts.

Jessica remains in the memories and hearts of her mother, Rae Banda, and step-father, Gabi Kourieh. Jessica was a loving older sister to Victoria and Sara Banda-Kourieh. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Contessa. She was a caring cousin and niece, and a friend to many. She joins her grandfather, Peter Banda, and her uncles, Lyle, Terry and Wayne, in Heaven, as well as many other pets, family members, and friends.

As we say our final goodbye to Jessica Uppal, please join us for visitation at P.X. Dermody’s Funeral Home at 7 East Avenue South, on Thursday July 23, 2026, from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral Service to take in the Funeral Homes Chapel at 12:00pm with visitation one hour prior on Friday July 24, 2026. In lieu of flowers donations in Jessica’s memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
