VAGLIARDO, Iolanda Vagliardo
October 12, 1940 - February 14, 2026With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Iolanda Vagliardo, a remarkable woman whose strength, generosity, and steady presence shaped the lives of everyone who knew her.
Iolanda was the rock and peacekeeper of her family—someone people naturally leaned on for support, guidance, and comfort. She had a rare gift for bringing calm to difficult moments, and she showed up without hesitation for anyone who needed help. Her heart was as strong as her spirit, and her love was expressed through action: caring, giving, and always putting others first.
A true trailblazer, Iolanda was the first Italian female real estate broker in Ontario, building a legacy through determination, hard work, and courage. She ran a successful business for over 60 years, earning respect not only for her accomplishments, but for the integrity and compassion she brought to everything she did. Known affectionately as “the boss,” she led with heart and good intentions, always wanting the best for her family and those around her.
Despite her success, Iolanda lived modestly. She never sought the spotlight, rarely spent on herself, and found greater purpose in helping others. She was quietly generous—often giving to those in need without asking for recognition. Her values were clear: family, responsibility, kindness, and doing what is right.
Iolanda will be deeply missed by her loving husband of many years Lorenzo, with whom she had built a beautiful family with. She was the beloved Mother of Mary and Jack, and her cherished grandchildren Jordan, Taylor, Alexander, and Olivia, who brought her immense pride and joy. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings Julia, Carolina, Amelia, and Giuseppe, along with extended family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives she touched through her work and her unwavering support.
Iolanda’s legacy is one of strength, love, and generosity. Her family will remember her not only for what she achieved, but for how she lived—with humility, grit, and a heart that never stopped giving.
