VANDEREE, Izak Vanderee

On Wednesday, December 3, at the age of 87, the Lord called home Izak Vanderee. He was the beloved husband of Linda “Lammie” (nee Bultje) for 64 years, father of Anita and Jake Bouwman, Jack and Marieke Vanderee (Evelyn†), Marilyn and Fred† Pilon, Norm and Nicole Vanderee, Sonya and Norm Kampen and Opa of 30 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren. Brother to Nel and Jake† Vandergaag, and Betty and Doug Selders and brother in law to Baps and Kees† Van Deijk, Lieny† and Willem† Schuurman, Bertha and Jan† Haveman, Jan† and Ans† Bultje, Bert† and Jane Bultje, Grace and George† VanAndel, Albert and Grace Bultje, Keith† and Alberdien† Louwerse, Phil Bultje, and sister-in-law, Sharon Neil-Bultje.

His life was a testimony to steadfast faith, quiet strength, and devotion to the generations that followed him. We give thanks for his earthly journey and rest in the sure hope of the resurrection.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at COVENANT CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 480 Woolverton Rd., Grimsby where the Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 11 a.m., Rev. Rolf DenHollander officiating. A reception will follow in the church Fellowship hall. Interment service will be held at Queen’s Lawn Cemetery, 109 Main St. E, Grimsby at 10 a.m. before the Memorial service.
