Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 12th, 2026 in his 74th year. Reggie VanKoughnett of Pembroke, beloved husband of the late Silvia Ann VanKoughnett (nee Knowlton). Loving father of Naomé (Mark Lindsey), Heidi (Nick Davis) and Amber (Mike Lefebvre). Caring grandfather of Monica, Rama, Fedora, Benjamin, Lydia, Jade, Grace, Cameron, Rose, Violet and Theodore. Dear brother of Gail (the late Bob) Bacon, Carol Blais, George “Butch” (Kay), Elaine (Jerome) Fabian, Sharon (Bob) Janman and Susan (John) Boyd. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by parents George and Pearl Vankoughnett (nee Souliere), by his sister Mary Jane Myre, and by brothers Gerard, Wayne (Joan) and Larry (the late Wendy) VanKoughnett.
Reggie was a loved man, he loved sharing stories of the good ol days and making people laugh. Dancing, music and the beauties of nature. He has left us far too soon and will be deeply missed by his loved ones. May he enjoy his peace now and forever rest with his family waiting for him in heaven. We love you and don’t you ever forget it.
Respecting Reggie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026 at 1 p.m. at St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke, Ontario.
