VERMEULEN, Peter Vermeulen

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on August 18, 2026 at the age of 97. Beloved wife to Jennie for 73 wonderful years. Loving father to John (Patricia), Marilyn (Bill) and Ed (Lucy). Peter is predecease by his son Ron. Peter Vermeulen will also be missed by sister Ena (John) and he is predeceased by Arnold and Cor. Peter was a adoring grandfather to 12 grandchildren and great grandfather to 19.5 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to Rehoboth Christian Reformed Church on Tuesday August 25, 2026 for visitation from 10 – 11am with a service to follow at 11:00 am. Reception will take place after the service. Burial will take place at Bowmanville Cemetery after the reception.

In Lieu of flowers, a memorial donations can be made to Gate 3:16 outreach center, 300 Court St. Oshawa.
