Victor James “Vic” Perdeaux passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health on October 2, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was 73.
Vic was the husband of Sharon Perdeaux and the father of Lori Perdeaux and Stacey Shipp. He was a grandfather to Sydney and Kennedy Shipp and a brother to Geoff and Rick Perdeaux. He was predeceased by his parents, Ken and Doreen Perdeaux, and his parents-in-law, Howard and Marilyn MacKey.
An athlete and sports fan, Vic enjoyed hockey, baseball, golf and cycling. He began his career as an entrepreneur with Vic’s Variety Store and later served with the Sarnia Police Service, retiring as a Staff Sergeant. He also enjoyed travelling with Sharon and helping family, friends and neighbours.
Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on October 15, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow there on October 16 at 1:00 p.m., with a reception afterward. Memorial donations may be made to Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario.
