It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Francine Vien, who passed away peacefully at Saint Vincent Hospital in Ottawa on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
Francine is survived by her son Johnathan and daughter Jessika (Mike) Ferrone, as well as her beloved grandchildren Johnathan Jr., Ryek, and Iylah. She is also remembered by her siblings Danielle (Maurice), Rejean (Brigitte), Christian, Richard, and Sandra, and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her cherished dog, Touba.
Predeceased by her parents Jean-Marie and Aurise, and her sister Linda, Francine will be remembered as a passionate and resilient woman who lived her life fully despite early health challenges.
A dedicated accountant, she had a true knack for numbers and balanced her career with a love for travel, food, family, and close friendships.
A Celebration of Life will be held for close family and friends on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Amberwood Golf Club in Stittsville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation or Bruyère Health Saint-Vincent Hospital in Francine’s memory.
