VIVONA, Vincenza Vivona
February 8, 1937 - July 1, 2026
Passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026. Reunited with her beloved husband, Sebastiano Vivona, who predeceased her in 1997.
Loving and devoted mother of Isidoro (Francine) and Anna. Cherished Nonna of Sebastiano (Jodi), Alexandra, Antonio DiCarlo, Rosanna (Ryan Oozeer), Natalie (Dickson Lam), and Daniel (Arden). Proud Bis-Nonna of Brooke, Liv, Emma, Sophia, Niya, Eva Enza, Remy, Theo and Aline, all of whom brought her immense joy.
Dear sister of the late Benedetto Vilardi (2003), the late Montagna Vilardi (2021), Stefano Vilardi (2023) and Maria Vilardi, the late Angela Riolo (1992) and the late Antonino Riolo (1964), Sina Pigliardo and the late Giuseppe Pigliardo (2025), Giuseppe and Pierrina Vilardi, and Vito and Domenica Vilardi.
Dear sister-in-law of the late Stefano Vivona (2000) and the late Marianna Vivona (2000), the late Mattia Cusumano (2017) and the late Vito Cusumano (2008), the late Vincenza Taranto (2012) and the late Jerry Taranto (2017),Β the lateΒ Maria (2010) and Pasquale Faraci (2007), the late Andrea Vivona (2020) and Lina Vivona of London, and the late Anthony Vivona (2006) and the late Janet Vivona (2016) of London.
Vincenza Vivona will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews throughout Canada, Australia, and the United States.
Vincenza retired from the General Motors Trim Plant, where she worked for many years as a powersewer. She was known for her quiet strength, unwavering love for her family, and generous heart. She is a proud member of Congregazione di San Giuseppe.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Yusuf Oozeer, the hospice team, and all of the staff whose compassionate care and kindness brought comfort to Mom throughout her journey. A very special thank you goes to ourΒ angels-Elizabeth, Belinda, Carmen, Rose, and Hagine-whose exceptional care, love, and dedication meant more to our family than words can express. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (CENTRAL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. (519-253-7234), on Sunday, July 5, 2026 from 3:00pm-8:00pm. Parish prayers at 5:45pm. Funeral service on Monday, July 6, 2026 at 11:15am from the Funeral home to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 12:00pm. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
