Agnes Margaret Voisin (née Freiburger) formally of Formosa passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Hanover Care Centre, Hanover, in her 101st year.
Agnes was a woman whose life was rooted in family, faith, and the simple joys of hard work and caring for others. She tended her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens with pride, always finding peace in the soil and delight in watching things grow. Her home on the farm outside Formosa was a place where everyone felt welcome. She loved spending time on the farm with family and friends, and no one ever left hungry, Agnes made sure of that. Her warm hospitality was matched only by the warmth of the socks she knitted for her loved ones, a small but lasting symbol of her generosity and love.
Beloved mother of Denise Robinson (John Cooper) of Kincardine, and mother‑in‑law of Diane Voisin of Walkerton. Cherished grandmother of Shawn Voisin, Aspen Robinson, Mike Cooper, Dayle (JR) Parungao, Chad (Becky) Voisin, Corey (Christina) Voisin, and Becky (Bill) Hayes. Proud great‑grandmother of thirteen (Mila, Eddie, Ellie, Lilly, Mia, Zoey, Aven, Miley, Seth, Madie, Jadia, Tessa, and Halie).
Agnes will be deeply missed by her sisters Pauline Oliver of Edmonton and Adeline Williams of Walkerton, the extended Voisin family, and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband Norman, her son Bill and Wayne, her brothers Frank (Bernetta) Freiburger and George (Bernice) Freiburger, her sister Theresa (Gerald) Voisin, brothers‑in‑law Allan Oliver and Roy Williams, and her parents Joseph and Elizabeth (née Hehn).
A private family interment will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Formosa, at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Walkerton and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Donations and condolences may be made online at www.cameronfuneralhomes.com.
