WARREN, Nancy Warren

She passed away peacefully at Southbridge Owen Sound on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Born in Owen Sound on January 28, 1943, Nancy Annabelle Warren (nee Buzza) of Owen Sound was in her 84th year.

Beloved wife of the late Fred Warren for 58 years. Proud mother of Lisa Warren of Owen Sound, Eric Warren (Kristen) of Guelph, Karen Kerr (Jeremy) of Owen Sound and Heather Warren (Shawn) of Owen Sound. Cherished grandma of Joshua (Mariah), Emily, Erica and Marshall. Dear sister of Sam Buzza and Mary Mackenzie (Ron), and sister-in-law of Kathryn Warren and Cathy North. Nancy will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Ross and Isabella Buzza, by her parents-in-law Percy and Ethel Warren, and by her brother-in-law Bill Warren.

A 1966 graduate of Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse, Nancy worked nearly 40 years in Owen Sound hospitals. She was a dedicated school volunteer and active member of Trinity Annan Church and United Church Women.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Nurse Practitioner Sheila Morrison, Dr. Dale Edwards and the many caring staff and residents of Southbridge Owen Sound, who provided compassionate support and care for Nancy during her time there.

A funeral service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Heather McCarrel officiating, with visitation two hours prior. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be livestreamed. Interment will take place in Leith Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Alzheimer Society of Grey Bruce or Trinity Annan United Church or Community Foundation Grey Bruce – Leith Historic Endowment Fund would be appreciated.
