WASCHUK, Kylie Ashlyn Caibaiosai-Waschuk

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kylie Ashlyn Caibaiosai-Waschuk on March 24, 2026, at the age of 34.
Kylie was a devoted wife to her husband, Richard Caibaiosai-Waschuk, and a loving, proud mother to her children, Jaxon and Violet, who were the centre of her world. Her love for her family was immeasurable and will always be remembered.
She will be deeply missed by her mother, Tracy Johnston (Griff); her dad, Tom Sangster; and her father, Richard Wilson; her mother-in-law, Sherry Caibaiosai; her brothers-in-law, Will Caibaiosai-Waschuk and Vince Caibaiosai-Waschuk along with her siblings Morgan Sangster, Shaun Sangster (Sarah), Alex Williamson and Kirstin Wilson. Morgan was not only her sister, but her very best friend, sharing a bond that was truly special.
She was also dearly loved by her grandparents, Papa and Nana Clyde and Lucy Johnston; Grandpa and Grandma Ian and Kris Wilson; and the late Papa and Nana Bill and Jane Sangster, as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Kylie had a smile that could light up a room and a warmth that made people feel seen and cared for. She had a deep love for her family and a passion for helping others, which led her to a meaningful career in nursing. She graduated with honours from Durham College in 2024, earning her RPN designation, and was continuing her education toward becoming a Registered Nurse.
In 2025, she was honoured as a recipient of the Anne L. Coghlan Scholarship through the College of Nurses of Ontario, recognizing her dedication to advancing safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care, as well as her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
Kylie worked with VHA Home Healthcare, where she served as a supervisor, leading and supporting a team of nurses with compassion, professionalism, and care. She truly loved what she did and made a lasting impact on both her colleagues and the patients she served. She also previously worked at The Denise House in Oshawa, a role that held a very special place in her heart, where she supported women with compassion, dignity, and care. Kylie will be remembered for her kind heart, her radiant smile, and her unwavering love for her children and family. Her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched and the love she leaves behind.
She will be forever loved and deeply missed.
