WATERS, Carl Thomas Waters

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the age of 92, and reunited with his beloved wife, Violet, and his son, Sean (Heather).

He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory always, including his sister, Shirley; his children, Patricia (Kevin) and Peter (Ana); his grandchildren, Christina (Tom), Sarah (Nazim), Shane (Meghan), Shelby (Coulter), Amanda (Alex), Kaitlin (Derek), Daryl, and Samantha; and his great-grandchildren, Alaric, Audra, Mickey, Blue, Joseph, and Gabriel.

Carl Thomas Waters lived through extraordinary times, from the Great Depression to a world war, and most recently, a global pandemic. Over his 92 years, he witnessed the world change in ways he could have only imagined as a child. Yet, he never allowed age to stand in his way. Carl continued to grow, adapt, and embrace the world around him with curiosity and good humor, even learning to use a smartphone to snap proud β€œfish selfies” to share with his grandchildren.

He was a man deeply devoted to his family, finding his greatest joy in the time spent with those he loved. He had a deep appreciation for nature, and a lifelong passion for fishing, where he found both peace and happiness.

Carl will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, and gentle spirit. His legacy lives on through the generations of family and friends who were fortunate to know and love him.
