It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Steven George Watson on February 7, 2025, at 11:24 a.m. at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, surrounded by loved ones. He was 35 years old.

Born in Montreal on January 4, 1990, Steven moved to Whitby, Ontario, in 1998. A dedicated martial artist from a young age, he earned his third-degree black belt in Taekwondo and proudly represented Team Canada in international competitions, including in Las Vegas (2005) and Bulgaria (2006).

Steven is deeply missed by his parents, Bruce and Mary (Abraham) Watson, his brother Bruce, and his loyal dog Rex, who misses his best friend.

Even in passing, Steven’s generosity continued—he donated his kidneys, lungs, eyes, and heart, giving the gift of life to others.

Steven’s strength, kindness, and passion will never be forgotten.
