WAUGH, Jennifer Lillian Bennett Waugh
January 17, 1970 - November 8, 2025
With broken hearts, the family announces the passing of Jennifer on Wednesday, November 8, 2025, at the age of 55. Born in North York and raised in Unionville, Jennifer lived a life defined by love, resilience, and unwavering devotion to the people she cherished most.
Jennifer loved deeply and fiercely. Her favourite roles in life were Mom, Grandma, and Auntie, and she embraced each one with pride and joy. She was endlessly proud of her children and all they accomplished—cheering Conner through every step of his motorbike racing journey, from injuries to the thrill of winning a championship, and admiring Tyler for his gentle spirit, his kindness toward animals, and his strength in overcoming every obstacle he faced.
She treasured the many baking weekends spent in Cambridge with her aunt and cousin, and she found happiness in reading—especially with the wonderful women of her beloved “Tippy” Book Club. Jennifer’s contagious laughter and humour made her a joy to be around and created memories that will be held forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
Jennifer cherished her years in Grand Bend, where she built lifelong friendships and a haven of summer memories. She loved her SOAR Racing family and the amazing weekends spent at the track, where she kept a seasonal trailer and reveled in the community around her. An enthusiastic cook—especially when spaghetti was on the menu—she thrived when surrounded by people she loved. Most recently, she found great comfort and happiness in being back home, close to her family and her precious grandbabies.
A devoted daughter and loving sister, Jennifer cared for her younger brothers with tenderness from a young age. She leaves behind her children Conner and Tyler (Nadine); her stepchildren Andrew, Tara, Joshua, Jennifer, and Dylan; and the mother of her beautiful grandchildren, Aly. She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Cameron, Charlotte, Bently, and Bryson.
She will also be missed by her father Bryan Bennett; brothers Andrew (Melanie) and Collin; her special friend Steve Kinghorn; and her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Jennifer will be forever missed by her best friend Tracy and her boys as well as her Cat Jinx.
Jennifer is predeceased by her angel baby boy E.J. Waugh, her mother Jacquline Bennett, and her beautiful nieces Tatiana and Lillian.
Jennifer loved lavender and the colour purple, and in her honour, her funeral will be a “Purple Tie Affair.” Guests are kindly asked to wear purple in celebration of her life.
Funeral will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge (905-852-3073) on Friday, November 28, 2025 at 1p.m. with visitation at 11a.m. Immediately following the service, a reception will be held.
