In the early hours of Sunday, March 29, 2026, Margaret Weeke (nee Smit) passed away peacefully at the age of 92 at Trillium Villa, Sarnia. Daughter of the late Aalderick and Grieije Smit. She will be remembered by her children, Robert (Kacy) Weeke, and Caroll (Stephen) Dignard-Weeke, her 5 grandchildren, and her sister, Joanne (Richard) Grift. Predeceased by her siblings, Jack (the late Melva), Albert (the late Audrey), Tilly (the late Art) Grift, and Alice (Ken) King.
A private interment of cremated remains will take place in Wyoming Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice (www.stjosephshospice.ca).
