WHITE, Coleen White

It is with deep love and gratitude that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved sister, Coleen Mary White, on June 12, 2026, at the age of 92.

Born on July 09, 1933 in New Glasgow Mills, Prince Edward Island, Coleen lived a life filled with kindness, resilience, and grace. She was a devoted sister, a cherished aunt, and a loyal friend to many. Her gentle spirit, quick wit, and unwavering compassion touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Throughout her long and remarkable life, Coleen found joy spending time with her family and many close friends, she also loved music, and her many years as a devoted member of her church. She was always ready with a warm smile or a listening ear. She had a gift for making others feel valued and loved, and her presence brought light to every room.

Coleen White is survived by her sister Noreen Hippenstall (Anthony – deceased), Sister Lauretta White and Shirley Clarke (Wayne) and many nieces/nephews, and is predeceased by her Father James White, her Mother Lottie White (nee Pineau), her brother Joseph White (Rita), her brother Arnold (Rita), and her nephews David and Paul Hippenstall. Her memory will forever be treasured in the hearts of those who knew her.

A Mass will be held on Wednesday June 17 at 11:00 am at St. Dominic’s Roman Catholic Church, 625 Atwater Avenue (At Cawthra Rd.) Mississauga, Ontario with a reception to follow at the church. Cremation.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, an organization close to her heart.

Her life was a testament to love, faith, and quiet strength — and though she is no longer with us, her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire for generations to come.
