Passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at his home at the age of 87. Glyn of Wasaga Beach, formerly of Brampton, was the beloved husband of Kathleen “Billie” (predeceased in 2024) of 64 years.

Predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Phyllis, and brothers Paul (Linda) and Terence. Loving father of Stanley, David, and Kimberly Crooks. Cherished grandfather of the late Amanda (Mike), Shawnna (Rob), Elaina (Steve), the late Derrick, and Marissa.

Great-grandfather to Brittany (Luc), Taylor (Nick), Paxton, Crystal, Christopher, Jonathon, Jade, Pearce, Hayden, and Finley; and great-great-grandfather to Aspen, Eva, and Oliver.

Dear brother-in-law of Stan (Betty) Lockhurst, JoAnn (Sheldon) Summerville, Nancy (Ted) Cordingley, Peggy Collins, Lois Busch, Deb Lockhurst (Rob), Lily Mae Hunter, and the late Bruce and Chuck Lockhurst.

In his younger years, Glyn built and raced his own stock car that he named “Miss Billie.” Glyn was a generous and caring man who could make friends everywhere he went and had a smile that could light up a room. He was a skilled woodworker during his retirement from Ford.

He will be greatly missed by all family and friends.
