At the young age of 90, Bill passed away on October 23, 2026.
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1936.
Predeceased by William Bill Simpson beloved wife Susan, “Sunshine” of 62 wonderful years. Best father in the world to Chloe ‘Coco’ and Elaine ‘Loulou’ (James). Devoted grandfather (aka Pa) of Brittney (Michael), Bret (Kelley), Melaney, Kris, Kerri, and Holly and great-grandfather of Nyomi, Halle, Ethan, Riylee, and Amaara. Dear stepfather of Todd (Marla). Survived by his loving sister Shirley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Private interment.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Lakeridge Health Foundation, as Bill was a dedicated volunteer there for over 30 years.
