It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of William at age of 91 – a cherished husband, devoted father and proud Opa.
He was the beloved husband of 63 years to the late Louise Johanna (nee Van Steensel) (2021) and a caring father to Nick (Pearl) and Mary McPhee (Charlie). Yet it was his role as Opa to Alexandra and Nicki McPhee and Alexander Gillis that he found his greatest joy. His grandchildren were the centre of his world, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Roseglen Village, and to the Restorative Team (1B) at the Northumberland Hills Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
Rest in peace, Opa. We love you.
