William George John Shield passed away at Cornwall Community Hospital on October 5, 2026, at the age of 93. He is remembered by his children Chris and Donna, grandchildren Alexandra and Darren, great-grandchildren Liam and Jake, friend Gale McCallum and former wife Frances Shield.
A celebration of life will be held at Lahaie & Sullivan Funeral Home’s West Branch in Cornwall on October 13, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with memories shared at 11:30 a.m. Cremation will follow. Memorial donations may be made to Swinging B’s Square Dance Club.
