WILLIAMSON, Bonnie Jean Williamson

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Bonnie Jean Williamson.
Born on February 27, 1950 in Scarborough Ontario, she passed away peacefully on May 3rd, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 75.

Bonnie was the youngest of Walter and Pearl Armstrong’s five children.

Bonnie will be greatly missed by her children and their spouses David (Sonia), Cliff (Erin), Coral (Shane) & Kim (Lee). She was a devoted Grandma to Mikhela, Mackenzie, Elliot, Alison, Teagan, Emmett, BayLee, Brock, Rylee, Faith, Abigail & Grace, and Great Grandma to Evelyn.

In addition, she will be missed by friends and a large extended family, especially “Aunty M” (Mary Ann Armstrong) who she considered not only family but a best friend.

Bonnie was a strong and independent woman who worked tirelessly to instill the value of family & hard work with her children. She was a long time volunteer with the Salvation Army. She loved to play card games and Rummoli with the grandkids while on vacation every year. Proud and determined, Bonnie lived her life walking the path she set before her, not to be dissuaded by any person or circumstance. Even in her passing, she would not allow the choice to be anything or anyone’s but her own.

May we find solace in the assurances of Jesus Christ, in His peace and life everlasting, and in the sure knowledge of Bonnie’s joyous reunion with her son Billy at the gates of Heaven, where we will all one day meet again.
