After a valiant struggle with heart disease on June 14, 2025 in Port Perry, at age 84. Ruth Eleanor Williamson (nee Bell), dearly loved wife of the late John Williamson. Loving mother of Kerry and his wife Andrea, and Shawn and his wife Monica. Loved grandmother of Deklan, Kaya, and Alyssa. Dear sister of Harry Bell (Joan) (both deceased), Jeanne Stacey (Ken deceased), James Bell (deceased), and Brenda Williamson (Luzerne) (both deceased). Dear sister-in- law to Lachlan (deceased)(Pla), Gordon (Debbie), Laurie (Joan), and Alan(deceased)(Wynne), and Gerrie (Luzerne). Ruth will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews of the Bell, Stacey and Williamson families.

Ruth was a 30+ year employee of the Bank of Montreal (Lindsay and Port Perry branches). We wish to thank Ruth’s healthcare providers, especially Dr. Rebecca Wray for all of the support to Ruth and her caregivers.

The Family of Ruth Williamson will receive friends and family at the Church Hall of St. John’s Presbyterian Church in Port Perry on Saturday, June 21^st at 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Church at 11:45 am followed by a reception in the Church Hall.
