WILSON, James Ross Wilson

Passed away peacefully at Toronto General Hospital on October 20th 2025

with his family by his side. Born February 11, 1949. Cherished husband

of Carol (nee Smith) for 57 years. Loving father to Trevor (Lindy), Todd

(Tammy) and Tara (Aldo). Dearest Grandpa to Luca, Adamo, Carter, and

Hailey. Adored son of the late Marion Park. Beloved son of the late Ross

Wilson. Dear brother of Cathy and (Ken) Keeler, and the late Joan and

(Carl) Edwards. Dear nephew to Jack Gordon. Dear brother in-law to Judy

and (Tom) Ralph, Ron and (Dorothy) Smith, Brenda and the late (Larry)

Apps, and the late Gary Smith.

Jim was a butcher for over 50 years. Jim began his journey at Sutton IGA

and eventually retired from Reid’s ValuMart. Throughout work life and

retirement, he built many special friendships. He was always the first

one to lend a helping hand for his friends, family and neighbors. He was

a long time Boston Bruins and Toronto Blue Jays fan, and he had a

passion for woodworking. He loved life and was full of happiness and

laughter.

Above all, Jim cherished his grand children. He was so proud of their

accomplishments and loved them with all of his heart.

From his friends at card nights, to his “breakfast buddies” and from all

his Family, Jim/Dad, you are forever loved, and you will be deeply

missed by all of us.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Jim will be held at

a later date.
