WILSON , Ross Wilson

Mr. Ross Wilson of Adams Avenue, Delhi, passed away peacefully at the VON Sakura House, Woodstock on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 in his 83rd year. Ross was an avid Photographer and the Owner of Wilson’s Photography for over 50 years. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed playing the “squeeze box” accordion. Ross enjoyed travelling with his family & friends to his property up north, whenever he got time off to get away. He was very social, comical and loved to have a good time. He loved his dog « Patches » (whom he never replaced)

It takes a special person to take on 3 children (Adoption) with Carol in 1975. This gave his life fulfilment. Loving father of Ron Wilson (Helen), Cheri Racine (John) and Tina Joseph (Peter) and their mother Carol Wilson. Cherished grandfather of Alexis, Levi, Larissa, Nathan, Joel, Natasha and Aleena and great-grandfather of Avery, McKenna and Declan. Loving brother of Rosemary Swaenepoel (Noel) and Allen Wilson (Late Gill 2015). Also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews & cousins.

Predeceased by his dearest companion, Missy Binder (2023) and by his two brothers; Edwin Wilson (2009) (Late Pat 2024) and Richard Wilson (2020) (Late Arah 2015) and by his niece, Debra Chaban (2025).

As per Ross’ wishes, a Private Family Funeral Service was held with Inurnment in Delhi Cemetery. Memorial Donations to the VON Sakura House, Woodstock can be made through the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
