WOOD, Kathy Ann Wood

It is with deep sadness, that we the family of Kathy Ann (Foster) Wood, wish to announce her peaceful passing after a brief illness, on Friday, May 8th, 2026, at LHSC- University Hospital, London, at the age of 70. Kathy was born in Tillsonburg, daughter to the late Garefield Foster and Marjorie (Libert) Foster, of Tillsonburg. Kathy is dearly missed by her husband John Baatje, of Tillsonburg. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Kacey Wood (Joe Sym), of Tillsonburg; stepson Anthony John Baatje, of Tillsonburg and his children Robert, Alexis and Kinley; stepdaughter Dianna Baatje (Jason Nadeau), of Courtland and their daughter Lillian. Survived by her siblings Tim (Judy) Foster; Lane (Shelley) Foster; Mark (Christa) Foster. Predeceased by her brother Danny Foster. In Kathy’s spare time, she enjoyed word finds. Above all else her family, especially her grandchildren, were at the center of her universe.

In keeping with Kathy’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. A Public Graveside Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, June 12th, at 3:00 p.m. in the Libert Family Plot of Tillsonburg Cemetery.
