WUNCH, Philip Aubri Wunch

WUNCH, Philip – In the early hours of Shabbat, our dear husband, father, and grandfather, Phil Wunch, left us with memories of his captivating smile, his love and devotion, and his zest for living.

Phil was the son of the late Irving and Clara Wunch and the loving and adored husband of Eileen (Chetner), devoted father, stepfather, and father-in-law to Lisa, Hartley, Jonathan and Adina. He was the beloved Zaidy to Carly, Ella, Zoey, and Rayna, who brightened his days.

Family was core to Phil, and always without a moment’s hesitation, he was there for all his children. He enriched their lives with joyful experiences, support for their career paths, and warm, fun family times.

Phil’s sister and brother-in-law Fern and Russ Mahronic of Scottsdale were most dear to him. Times spent with his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Marleen and Jerry Lipschultz of Highland Park, Illinois and their family were always special.

Phil’s accounting career brought him great satisfaction and lifelong relationships with his business associates and clients.

Special thanks to Julie, who cared for all of us and looked after Phil with gentleness and love. Our most sincere gratitude goes to the Angels of Floral Place 3rd Floor at Baycrest. The dedicated staff became family to us, and we knew that our precious Phil was being exceptionally well cared for.
