YEE, Eileen Toy Yit Yee

With sadden hearts we announce the passing of Eileen Toy Yit Yee on August 12, 2026 at the age of 89. She will be reunited with her husband Frank Think Young who predeceased her in April 1999 and son Leslie who predeceased her in October 1999. Eileen was born in 1937 in Hoy Ping, Canton, China and moved to Canada as a young girl. She will be greatly missed by her children Georgina (Ken), Jennifer (Mary), and Manuel (Bob), and daughter-in-law Keeley (Brent); grandchildren Pamela (Paul), Denise (Stephen), Barry (Mechelle), Elizabeth, and Nicholas; great grandchildren Charley, Conor, Alice, Braden, Lucas, and Alya.

Service will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel (1835 East Hastings Street), Vancouver at 11 am on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Garden of Love at 1:30 pm. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026 at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel from 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Burnaby Hospital Foundation in memory of Eileen Toy Yit Yee will be greatly appreciated.

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and care aides at Burnaby General and Age Care Carlton Long Term Care facility for their care and attention for the time she was there.
