Scott Gerard Yorkston
March 16, 1965 – October 9, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Scott Yorkston at home on October 9, 2024, at the age of 59.
Scott will be deeply missed by his sisters Sheryl (Mark) Thususka and Kathy (Mark) Sanderson, as well as his nieces and nephews: Robert (Hannah), Stephanie, Shane (Krizza), and Kyle. He was predeceased by his parents, Danny and Shirley Yorkston.
A proud Stelco employee since 1999, Scott’s hard work and dedication were valued by friends, family, and coworkers alike. His presence will be missed dearly by those who knew him.
In accordance with Scott’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal funeral service. If desired, donations in Scott’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in his memory, please visit our floral store.
