Shiva information: Shiva visits are welcome Monday following the interment until 4:00 pm and then 7:00 to 9:00 pm, continuing Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm, and Friday 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Evening services will be held at 8:00 pm. Shiva visits will conclude Friday afternoon, November 14th.

Notice:

Betty Esther Young – Passed peacefully at her home comforted by the presence of her family. As the matriarch, together with her late husband Maurice, they built a family based on love, respect, kindness and traditional Jewish values. In the most remarkable fashion, she managed to love, connect and inspire all 50 of her immediate family members.

Betty was the beloved mother to Jeannie and Peter, Linda and Joey, John and Lisa, Joey and Susan, James, Leslie and Jay, and Jason and Lauren. Grandmother to Emily and Noam, Mike and Becca, Sophie, Jessica and Adam, Joshua and Raquel, Justin and Marlee, Daniel and Cass, Jordan and Nikole, Jacob, Marissa and Simon, Gwen, Rachel, Nathan, Hannah, Ellie, Zoey, Sadie and Max. Great-grandmother to Riley, Casey, Rafi, Izzy, Sam, Cobie, Dylan, Tyler, Shay, Reese and Jones. She will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate to have known her gentle and loving personality. Her love will stay with us forever!

Many thanks to Julia who has been invaluable to her and our entire family for over 32 years and more recently, Myrna and Mellow for their tremendous care and attention. A special thank you to Dr. Zion Sasson for his above and beyond love and support to mom for over 30 years.
