It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Enrica Zanon on June 14, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Dino Zanon. Loving mother to Renato (Vivian) and Stephen (Anita). Cherished Nonna to Michael (Sylvia), Stephanie (Andy), Tyler, Jamie, and Haley, and treasured great-grandmother to Madison, Tristan, and Harrison.

Born in Friuli, Italy, Enrica was one of eight daughters to Erminia and Erminio Piccinin. She immigrated to Toronto in 1953 with her husband to begin a new life, raising her sons with love and care. Known for her gardening, traveling, and love of bingo at the Famee Furlane, Enrica’s warm heart and dedication to her family were unwavering.

In her later years, Enrica faced health challenges, and the Zanon family expresses deep gratitude to Elsie for her loving caregiving, and to the staff of Humber Meadows Long Term Care Home for their compassion and support.

Visitation will take place on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 6:00pm – 8:00pm at:

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 10:30am in the Chapel of Our Lady of Consolation at the same location.

Entombment will follow at:
St. Anthony’s Mausoleum, Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Mental Health Association.
