WINDER, Dana - It is with sadness that we announce the death of Dana, on March 17, 2023.
Beloved wife of the late Howard Winder (1998) after 40 years of marriage.
Dana was born on November 8, 1935, in Nobleton, Ontario, to the late Howard and Nell Dobson. She is survived by her two brothers, Tom Dobson (late Lynn) (Joan Montgomery), and Ed Dobson (Eleanor); and her nephew, David (Sonya); nieces, Julie Stewart (John), Jill Dobson, Jayne Dobson, Diana Dobson (Wilf), Kristine Dobson (Greg), and Debra Dobson (Alf).
She is also survived by many Dobson great-nieces and nephew; plus many Winder nieces and nephews.
Dana retired from Labatt's in 2000 and started as a volunteer in the NICU at Sick Kids Hospital where she remained for over 19 years.
Visitation will be held on March 28th, from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at The Ward Funeral Home "Weston Chapel," 2035 Weston Road, Toronto. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. at Central United Church, 1 King Street, Weston.
