Kelly EdwardKELLY, Edward "Eddie"  -  In Our Hearts Forever We are deeply saddened to announce that Edward "Eddie" Kelly of Scarborough, passed away peacefully, in the early morning of March 21, 2024, at Scarborough General Hospital.

In his 92nd year, he leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and cherished memories.

Eddie was a devoted family man, survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Rosemary (nee Yeo); and his children, Wendy (Greg Shrubsole), Greg, Leanne (Richard McNichol) and Kevin (Martha).

He adored his grandchildren, Megan (Daniel Berkal), Bronte, Ryan (Jess) and Connor; and great-grandson, Parker.

His sister, Kathy Kilmer mourns his loss, while he joins his predeceased sister, Lillian Costello; and brothers, Frank, Charlie, and Stephen in eternal rest. He leaves behind a profound impact as Uncle Ed to numerous nieces and nephews, whose lives he touched with love, guidance and memories.

His passion for singing was evident until his final days, the nursing staff caring for him said they often heard him singing while lying in bed. He was a long-time member of St. Boniface Church, where he not only worshipped, but at one point, also led the parishioners in song, sharing his gift of music with the community.

In celebrating Ed's life, his family finds peace in the cherished memories they hold dear. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A heartfelt Funeral Mass, commemorating the life and legacy of our beloved, will be conducted on April 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Church, 142 Markham Rd., Scarborough.

This will provide an opportunity for memories to be shared and hearts to find solace together in remembrance.
