BRUMMITT, Lois - Lois, 97 years, passed away on April 19, 2024, in Belleville, ON.
Lois was predeceased by Bill, her husband and sweetheart of over 65 years.
She was a proud and devoted mother to Barbara Donoghue, Heather Gamblin (Peter), Jeanie Brummitt, and Bill Brummitt Jr. (Wanda); seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Lois was born in Mission, BC, and attended UBC before marrying Bill in 1950.
Their family lived in Powell River and Vancouver, BC, before moving to Toronto and settling in Ontario.
Lois had a rich and active life as a member of the North York Historical Society, Historical Society of Early Decoration, had many fulfilling hobbies and many longtime friends.
She will be fondly remembered.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation, Doctors Without Borders, or The Building Fund of St. Thomas Church, Belleville.
