West AndrewWEST, Andrew  -
February 4, 1967 - April 7, 2024

It is with immense sorrow that the family of Andrew West, of Etobicoke, announces his unexpected passing, at age 57, while vacationing with his family in Jamaica, doing one of the many activities he loved, snorkelling.

Andrew is survived by his soulmate of 38 years, Caroline (nee Watt); along with their son, Brendan William; and daughter, Megan Lenore, of whom he was extremely proud.

Predeceased by his cherished mother, Judith Norrie West. Also loved by his father, William West (Geraldine, nee Barran); and his mother-in-law, Lenore Watt.

He is survived by his siblings, Jennifer Neville (Gary), Jim West (Helena), and Sharon Scott (Larry).

Also survived by his loving aunts and uncles, Thomas and Marilew West, Peter Atcheson (predeceased by Katherine Atcheson West), Margaret Norrie McCain (predeceased by Wallace McCain), Roderick and Eleanor Tucker Norrie; and predeceased by George Norrie.

He was loved by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and colleagues. Andrew was larger than life. He lived, loved and laughed every day, and never passed up the opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest.

His passions included travelling, music, golf, snowboarding, coaching hockey, and spending time with family and friends.

He started his career in the pharmaceutical industry, working with Eli Lilly for 24 years before transferring his skills to Medtronic, where he specialized in Diabetes care.

He always took pride in providing information on life saving medications. Funeral arrangements to be confirmed.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
