IRVINE, Maureen   -

July 17, 1934 – April 30, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maureen Daisy Irvine of Milton, Ontario, on April 30, 2024.

Maureen died peacefully, at Allendale Long Term Care Facility with her loving family by her side.

Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, Maureen was the youngest of four siblings (all predeceased), and immigrated to Canada with her husband and young family in 1966.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; and will be lovingly remembered by her children, Stewart (Joanne), and Lorraine (Jason).

She was a very proud grandmother of Ashleigh (Richard), Adam (predeceased), and Allison; and great-grandmother of Madison and Mackenzie.

Maureen's warmth, generosity, and sense of humour made the world a better place and she will be deeply missed. A special thank you to Janine, Manju and all the staff at Allendale Nursing Home for the care they provided to Maureen.

We are very grateful for the warmth, the laughs and the friends made in the two years that she spent there.

A private celebration of her life will take place on Sunday, May 5, 2024.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, or to: www.starlightcanada.org.
