Running GlennRUNNING, Glenn Edward  -

December 7, 1955 - April 29, 2024

Glenn passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, after a short illness.

He was surrounded by the love of his daughter, son, son-in-law and sister.

Glenn was a loving father to his daughter, Katherine (Travis); and son, Paul Running.

He adored his grandson, Theo.

He was a best friend and brother to Paddy Running-Horan. He also had a special place in his heart for his nephew, Gregory Horan. He will be sorely missed by his many cousins, friends and neighbors.

Glenn was predeceased by his mother, Laura; father, Ted; and his wife, Mary Beth Tunis.

A special thank you to all the wonderful staff that cared for him on the ICU ward of Joseph Brant Hospital, in Burlington. Glenn lived a simple, happy life. He loved his time in Acapulco and other destinations, his varied taste in music, his sports, Sudoku and his many friends over the years. Everyone who met Glenn, loved Glenn.

That in itself is a legacy. He was gentle, kind and compassionate. He was well-loved. Until we meet again, gentle soul.

Celebration of Life to be announced.

For strength comes in the breaking In holding the pieces to stay strong. It doesn't take any effort To simply not care To not shoulder a burden Or not to feel their despair. Gentle souls, like butterflies Bear the weight upon their wings Though it crushes and pains their heart.

They only think of the good that it brings. Gayle McMillan.
