WILLIAMS, David John - It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our father, David John Williams in his 76th year.
At home in Oakville, Ontario, on April 23, 2024.
He will be extremely missed by his girls, Allison (Adam), and Erin (Neil).
And by his grandchildren, Talon, Kai, Poppy, and Beatrix.
A doting Papa, they were the light of his life. A forever city boy, Dave was born and raised in Toronto by his loving Mother, the late Mary Helen Williams, and by his "mom", his cherished Grandmother, the late Florence Garrity.
Dave's career on Bay Street took him all over Canada, always up for a change, and a new challenge, he loved every minute of it.
He took great pride on eventually settling, and raising his family in his beloved Bronte, and continuing his commute to the city.
Our Dad loved nothing more than a good time, good tunes, telling a great story, eating delicious food, while enjoying a drink, or two, with of course a spectacular tan.
So, please put on some Motown, enjoy a glass of wine, and think of our forever loved, and forever missed, Papa (Lips) Williams.
