DEGEER, Patricia - Passed away quietly at Errinrung Long Term Care in Thornbury on Friday, April 26 th.
Predeceased by her parents, Mac and Vera (Bridgewater, Nova Scotia); her loving husband, Garry; and cherished daughter-in-law, Lynn.
Pat is survived by her children, D'Arcy and Dana (Jim); and grandchildren, Trevor and Lisa (Troy).
Pat was a caring and loving soul, not only to her children and grandchildren but to everyone she knew, it was just her nature. Pat had many and varied interests.
She was a long time supporter of the Arts, a performer and vocalist herself, and an avid cyclist and skier.
Together, Pat and Garry, loved to travel the world and were lucky enough to see more from their bikes than most of us could even imagine. When they weren't travelling, you could often find them at their beloved "Villa" near Collingwood.
For Pat and Garry life was an adventure meant to be shared with family and friends! We would like to thank all those who provided comfort and care for Pat in her final days.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital or the Daily Bread Food Bank.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
