BROWNE, Lynne Diane Browne - Lynne died suddenly and unexpectedly, on October 29, 2023.
She was born January 21, 1947, in Weston, Ontario, where her family lived on Grandmother Jesse Browne's farm.
Daughter of Robert Lesse Browne (1921-2007) and Ada Pearson Browne (1921-1971); and sister of Eleanore LeBarre (1942-2003) and Robert William Browne (1948-2009), she is survived by sisters, Darlene Jesse Rochon and Shirley Ann Browne (Denise Helm); husband of 49 years, James Leonard Turk; children, Jessica Turk-Browne (Mathieu Jacques), Nicholas Turk-Browne (Lauren Babcock-Dunning), and Alexi Turk-Browne (Daniel Delle Donne); and grandchildren, Isla (9), Ada (7), Marlo (7), Hugo (4), Calder (1).

BROWN, Randy William Douglas Brown - Randy passed away at the Toronto Grace Health Centre on October 28, 2023.
Born March 9, 1944, Randy was the later-in-life partner of Meg Sutherland Best; son of the late Kenneth Vincent Brown and Virginia Irene Maclean; father of Cleo Pettigrew Brown; and brother of Heather Thompson and the late Roger Brown.
As a longtime resident of Cabbagetown and founder of the Cabbagetown Art and Crafts Festival, he championed many local initiatives working to enhance and preserve the neighbourhood he truly loved.

Dorothy passed peacefully, with family in her 98th year.
A Toronto native, she was born in St. Clair West to Mason and Gertrude Forgie.
After becoming a registered nurse in 1949 at TGH, she served remote home locations near Dryden and Kenora for several years before returning to Toronto, where she worked as an obstetrics nurse until her retirement.

BREEN, Caroline Katherine - Our beloved Caroline Katherine Breen, of Toronto, Ontario, age 33, passed away peacefully, on October 26, 2023, after a lengthy illness and hospital stay.
Caroline will be profoundly missed by her mother, Ann McCarthy Breen; her father, John Breen; and her brother, Colin Breen.
Caroline will be dearly missed by her grandparents, Bernard and Patricia Breen of Kingston, Ontario. Many aunts, uncles and cousins in Texas and Pennsylvania and in Kingston were important in Caroline's life, especially her cousin, Thomas McCarthy, and her aunt, Linda Struthers.

COULIS, Michael Francis Coulis - Of Toronto, Ontario, passed away peacefully, on October 26, 2023, at Sunnybrook Hospital Veterans Unit, under the compassionate care of the K2C Staff.
He was 99 years old and lived a full, fascinating life.
Michael's loving wife of 69 years, Ruth Eleanor Coulis, nee Porter, died 6 years prior.
Mike and Ruth had 8 children, 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Shiela passed away peacefully, at her home in Toronto on October 24, 2023 with Mark (son) and Emma (daughter-in-law) by her side.
Adoring grandmother to Lola and Piper, and wife of Waldemar (Walter) for 49 years and who passed in 2017.
After coming to Canada from Northern Ireland in 1957, Shiela worked in the finance department of The General Synod of the Anglican Church of Canada for a staggering 41 years.

James had an incredible work ethic and was fiercely independent and active throughout his entire life.

REID, Shirley Ellen (nee Faust, Cederberg) - On October 25, 2023, at the age of 86, Shirley passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family.
Shirley sang with both Ontario Heartland Chorus and Scarbourgh Chorus Sweet Adelines, and was active in the Port Credit First United Church until Alzheimers imprisoned her.
We sang her off to soar freely.
She leaves behind three children, five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, she will be missed by all who knew her.

He was a kind and gentle man with a wry smile and a big heart that endeared him to anyone he met.

WELLS, Peter Wells - Peter died suddenly in Sunnybrook Hospital on October 25, 2023, at the age of 79, due to a cumulation of multiple health issues.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Brenda Bolton; his sister, Rosalind Wells; his niece and nephew, Suzie and Peter Leathley; his nephew's children, Gemma and Seamus; and all our loving neighbours, relatives and friends in many countries.
Born and raised in Gateshead, England, a place he made sure everyone heard about, he emigrated to Canada in 1970, where he taught mathematics and computer science at Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute.

He loved and played music throughout his life (guitar was his chosen instrument) and was in a band as a teenager, composing and singing as well as playing.
