CHABROL, Olive Yvonne - (January 6, 1941 – August 18, 2018) - Olive Chabrol died peacefully on Saturday, August 18, 2018.
She was the beloved mother to Michelle Nichols (Michael) and Darren Kirton (Nina) and proud Grandmother to Amanda Nichols, Samantha O’Grady, Jonathan O’Grady, Xyanna Kirton and Naia Kirton.
She was the loving sister to John Kirton (Judy) and the late Barbara Yhip. Olive was also the aunt to 3 nephews and great-aunt to 6.
She was kind, caring, funny and ever so loving. Olive loved to live life to the fullest. She was always on-the-go.
Olive survived a stroke in 2010 with 50% paralysis. She made the best of it for 9.5 years. Olive then contracted pneumonia recently and suffered for approximately two months. God has now called her to come home and be at rest.
Guests will be received at Delmoro Funeral Home, 61 Beverly Hills Dr., North York on Wednesday August 22 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church on Thursday August 23 at 11:30 am. Cremation to follow.
In memory of Olive, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation and/or The Canadian Diabetes Association.
