Viana ChristinaVIANA, Christina Marie (nee MANNE)  - February 28, 1957 - September 1, 2018

Loving wife, friend and fellow Trekkie of 40 years to John M. Viana.

Survived by her father Cornelius (Corry), brother Wayne with sister in-law Mary Lou, nephew Andrew, brother Neil, niece Talia, nephew Benjamin, extended family in Windsor and lovingly remembered by her sister at heart Suzanne Scott with husband Richard O'Rourke.

Tina devoted 22 years to the care and needs of others (Community Living Huronia) where she cultivated a cast of lifelong friends providing her the love and support she would need to draw from in her five year battle with Ovarian Cancer.

We thank the medical professionals and staff at Royal Victoria (Barrie) and Princess Margaret Cancer Centers for their concerted effort thru this roller coaster ride of life. We would also like to acknowledge the important role played by both the Rotary Cancer Lodge and Gilda's House (Barrie) with their wonderful staff and support groups for the enormous enhancement of Tina's day-to-day life throughout this ordeal.

Tina ended her long journey in the loving embrace of her family at the Simcoe Hospice in Barrie. She will be remembered and admired for her strength of will and kindness to others.

Tina will be laid to rest at: HOLY CROSS CEMETERY, 211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill, Ontario on Monday, September 17th, at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
